Hi all,

Just seen the new George III £5 gold proof coin on the Royal Mint website

https://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/events/king-george-iii/a-celebration-of-the-reign-of-george-iii-2020-uk-5-pound-gold-proof-coin/

It says the mintage is 250, could this rival the gold una and the lion that sold for way more than it's original price?

Una is a beautiful design with a strong history with the original

This is just a boring  uninspired design

Not a chance, unfortunately. But nevertheless it should be a good buy, and should retain its value and appreciate. These Royal Mint £5 gold coins are all highly valued, especially with such a low mintage.

Think it's going to be a nice one for flipping short term, a quick £50-60? Maybe more.

I doubt these are going to make much for flipping considering they have not yet sold out. I could be wrong though :D
