Sovereign scales

Bit of a strange request but does anyone have a cheap little functional/reliable sovereign scale they don't want please.   I am trying to show my 8yr old  how to manage money and wanted to show her how to check her grandfathers sovereign on loan to her  (would be devastated if it fails!!!).  She is quite interested in history and while she is I want to ensure she gets a good grounding in understanding how to manage real money. I am told that Harrisons made them- are they still available?

Scales are expensive, but sovereigncheckers are cheap on eBay

I bought these on flebay for £15-00. The beauty of them is you use a known physical weight for comparison and you can see the result.

There again there’s cheap and cheerful electronic scales for the same price on Amazon.
