And today you have the chance to own a genuine Princess Mary Christmas Tin complete with extremely sought after 1918 dated Silver coins.

A tin of coins could not be gifted in 1914 with 1918 coins.

The tin was not gifted with coins in. It says it in the article. The coins have been added for this set. When the tins where gifted in 1914 they had xmas card, Tabacco, lighters and cigarettes.

It says about the tobacco products in the video not the article - a tin sold three days ago for £22 plus postage on ebay.

As a WW1 medal nut I have a couple of these tins I picked up quire cheaply...however the full versions are quite rare and some of them did come with silver in just not in the coin variety....

Very cool website. Thanks for sharing. I Picked up my tin for a very good price and all coins also at a good price. Now just gotta wait for delivery and make the insert. I was looking for a very worn dirty tin and a perfect one came up at auction so was defo good timing.

I may pick up a second tin and make a 2nd set. See how this one turns out
