10oz escalante mine

As the title says.....  What's the chances of finding a 10oz JM escalante mine bar in the uk. Found them in us but customs make em too expensive to ship

i haven't seen a Johnson Matthey bar of this sort on the forum before. You might come across one in the UK but it could be years before you see a bar and then it is anyone's guess whether it is a 'good price'.

Looking at ebay if you got nabbed by customs and the full price with shipping was declared you would be looking at £275 for a bar or £27.50/oz. For more unusual bars £27.50/oz for a bar is probably what you would have to pay, yes it is steep but that's what it is. It depends on how much you want to have a bar like this. This is not about stacking silver, it is about collecting a bar you want.
You might find a private sale - the seller might declare a spot price for the silver to help you out - they might send it over as a present and it slips through. i think if you really want a bar like this it will mean you will have to get one State side.

Yeah seen them ones. I'm not in a rush I can wait until I go over there to pick one up just thought it may bring one of hiding

I tend to stick to the smaller JM minted pieces, @Alansrthur might have one if not US will be the best bet.

Its Alan's fault I'm into JM (and also the reason I want a 10oz to go with my 1oz)
