Hi im interested in buying these two coins as they look beautiful. However the only place i can find who sells them is european mint and with postage it comes to a very high price of about 87 pounds. This seems ridiculous to me given the silver is only worth just over 20 pounds. So is this what you have to pay if you want these coins? thanks

May have wait until BYB does a group order in the new year with the European Mint or put wanted ad in the UK & Sales section. Small amounts of Silver agree not worthwhile ordering from the European dealers but they have option to buy and store the items for six months. I have 20 oz Silver paid for with GS.be waiting for either confirmed Brexit date or more items want to purchase before request delivery saving on shipping costs.

This

BYB does some odd group order that works out really well from what I've seen. I forget what he does exactly, but it seems a bunch of people go with it and put their money or funds together.

But if one of them has a defect, you'll be stuck with it as they won't answer your emails.

I had no idea! Is their customer service that bad? I've ordered from them recently, awaiting the order now.

At least that was my experience. Ordered two lions and two elephants and waited more than specified delivery time with no sign from them.

Email to ask about delivery, and the answer was that they've just shipped it.

Tried to use the tracking of Deutche Post and nothing was showing, so emailed again.

No answer.

In the end the tracking worked and package arrived in good shape, but one of the coins had two dents on the edge.

Emailed to ask about procedure in such cases.

No answer.

Cancelled my account on the web site and automatically email asking me to give feedback was received. Gave feedback.

No answer.

So, I think it's all good if all the coins are in good condition, otherwise...

@Ceaiu, sorry to hear that! ☹️ Now that I've read a bit more about them (here on the forum and on some other sites), I think I should've done a better research before ordering from them. Poor communication and customer service are a quite common complaint. On the other hand, others say it was OK, so it seems a bit hit and miss. My order should arrive next week, so I'll see and let you know how it went.

I've promised to tell you about my experience with aurinum once my order arrives. I've received the package a few days after my last post. And sadly, one of the coins had some hideous fingerprints all over it, which is an absolute no go for a new coin and especially one with some collector value. I've contacted the seller and we agreed that he would exchange the coin for a new one. The whole process took a bit longer, but in the end I've received the new coin, this time in pristine condition. Overall, I would rate it as an OK purchase with some hiccups.
