I'm also an Australian and have successfully shipped to the UK in the past.

I have used Australia Post "Pack and Track" service. Perfect in my experience. You can log onto their website and cross check charges and conditions as well as track.

As others have pointed out you need to take clearing costs and VAT into account in most circumstances.

I have quite a few 50%, 80% and 92.5% silver content Australian coins available to sell or trade.

This might be of interest for your coin collection.

I also have "world coins" of varying silver content available for sale or trade.

Please PM if you have any inquiries or would otherwise like to get to know me better.

Hint: the higher the silver content, the better the postage weight!

For a good blurb on these coins, including weight:

And I can vouch for Shamatti, too   :)

A very nice bloke. Terrific fellow with whom to exchange thoughts and ideas.

Great for f2f as he has much life experience as well as being a very nice bass guitar player :)

An afternoon with Shamatti disappears very quickly and most enjoyably.

And who knows ... you might even get to discuss silver  :D
