As we didnt get a decision and I'm too impatient Im going to ask now.  If we sign a deal for Brexit will we immediately get charged VAT on silver from Europe after the 31st of Oct or will this happen after a full trade deal at the end of 2020?

As it stands the agreement states:

Customs
The Parties will put in place ambitious customs arrangements, in pursuit of their overall objectives. In doing so, the Parties envisage making use of all available facilitative arrangements and technologies, in full respect of their legal orders and ensuring that customs authorities are able to protect the Parties' respective financial interests and enforce public policies. To this end, they intend to consider mutual recognition of trusted traders' programmes, administrative cooperation in customs and value added tax (VAT) matters and mutual assistance, including for the recovery of claims related to taxes and duties, and through the exchange of information to combat customs and VAT fraud and other illegal activity.

As you can see, general agreement exists but the minutiae still needs to be worked out

Ideally to solve Brexit there needs to be another general election, just so that one party can try become the majority which will then give that government alot more power to just press stuff through. Right now parties just bicker amongst themselves and because conservative dont hold majority they are relying on other mp's from other parties to vote for there stuff, not a chance it will happen.
