Premium membership selling in U.S.

I have been debating whether to get the premium membership or not. I know that a lot of you buy and sell in the UK but does anyone in the U.S. sell or buy throigh the forum?    Jim

Hi, I have been shipping collector coin off to auction houses right now. I also sell on ebay under boxeldercoin. I buy coin collections in my area and I can not always keep all the coins so I sell some. I just think the forum is mostly  is a UK thing and not many of us from the states.  Jim

The forum is a great resource for people looking to sell items at a reasonable price. However many people especially in the US sections list their items for ridiculous prices. Most people here on the forum are fairly seasoned stackers/flippers, and will not pay outrageous prices.

So I would just say if you are looking to sell stuff at a reasonable price it is a good place. If you're looking to get absolute top dollar for each item I would say not the place.

I list in the USA section of the buy/sell trade forum here, but I have only sold a couple coins so far (on this forum).  I'd like to think that my asking prices have been very fair.  I list the same coins at the same prices on reddit's r/PMsForSale and I get a lot more hits there.  I recommend that as an alternative, though it does take some time to build up a reputation there.  They have a feedback system for buyers and sellers, and that reddit forum is mostly US based.  I have heard good things about facebook groups, but I despise facebook, so I have not tried that yet.  I also recently started an instagram account @zatstackz.  I'm not selling on instagram, but I have seen sellers on there as well.  Not sure how well they do.

Chris has been offering prizes for sellers in the USA section to try and build it up and get more traffic.  I do envy the speed that things sell in the UK section.

Premium membership is not necessary to sell in the US section.  The sell threads are not blocked for a day like they are in the UK section for non premium members.

I will second reddit for selling.  After I broke up my crypto currency farm I was able to sell thousands of dollars worth of equipment on reddit and had zero issues.  My experience, yours might vary but for me, it beats the heck out of CL or the Bay.    I priced my equipment fairly and most of it sold within hours of posting...
