Remaining 1/4 2018 Gold Standard Coins sold to @richatthecroft thank you for the purchase.

I'm very pleased with this purchase at +4% above current Spot for the pair.

It's interesting that these Gold Standard coins were listed at a much higher price initially- they are nice, premium bullion coins after all (I wish I knew the mintage- anybody know this?) but being 24ct Gold and churned out by the bucketful when minted, these (and I would argue) all bullion coins will sustain some imperfections to a greater or lesser extent.

These look to me to fit well within the acceptable range to still attract some premium over Spot.

I only write this, as I sold an example of this coin several months ago on behalf of my son, and the sale wasn't without some controversy due to my sons coin having similar imperfections (I believe my sons and these coins were from the same source) and he asked a premium for it, despite the imperfections.   @Tn21 in the end, happily bought my sons coin.  I was very happy to purchase these.

Thanks @Abyss

When Gold coins sold at premium (I consider anything 3% above spot as premium) always going to be a debate what classified as acceptable bullion condition. IMHO very small hairline scratches on the Queens neck or check is acceptable bullion condition. 2018 Gold Standard Coin 1# due to small indentation I felt could not be classified any longer as attracting a premium beyond 3% above spot (dealer rates). The 2# 2018 Gold Standard Coin I would still classify acceptable bullion condition. To be perfectly honest if another member had offered 4% above spot for both these coins I would have settle for 6.5% but as @richatthecroft helped me in the past complete my 1 oz Gold QB collection (sold 1 oz Gold Lion last year) I felt only fair to accept a more favourable trade.

I really like this, seems almost unheard of nowadays that someone's past deeds / help are remembered and reciprocated.

Congratulations to both of you.
