Hi,

I can loan you my book for a couple of weeks if you want to do some research? An absolute must is research if considering purchasing these beautiful coins!

If however you just have a few questions, I would do my best to assist.

Cheers

Dave

Hi

Thanks for the offer dave, but i have ordered a copy from the states.

I have purchased a 2018 and 2019 1/10 gold, very pleased with them, looking at a 2009 and 2013 @ £182 inc postage each, is the price too high to pay?

thanks again

Hey how much did you pay for the 2018/2019 1/10oz and where? Im thinking of buying and seen them for 150 but with the gold price falling not sure whether to wait

No problem at all, you will find the book essential reading if you are serious about collecting these coins.

Re the prices of the others, I think £182 each is as @Cornishfarmer said, on the high side, the 2013 I would be looking at £140-£150, maybe a little more for the 2009, however as is everything with these coins, condition dependant.

I always like OMP coins, as do (generally) the Chinese, others like graded (Americans seem to go for these more), Europeans seem to be in the middle.

Good luck with the collection, research, research, research, you have made absolutely the right decision in acquiring the book, it amazes me why so many people are prepared to spend a lot of their expendable income on these coins but not make the best investment, knowledge about them 😀. Thus saving money and enjoying this fascinating subject even more 😀

Any questions, once again be glad to try and help,

Cheers

Dave

Thanks for the replys guys, i purchased the coins from chards,  £141.31 each,  i had the last one of the 2018, which seems to be hard to find,  they still have the 2019, but you have a £9 postage charge to add on.

attkinsons are about £150, which come out the same price if buying only one,  cheaper if buying 2 or more.

2020 panda should be out next month, anyone seen the design yet?

thanks again guys

Design is out I believe, it's on one of the other threads.

With regards to 3G panda 2019 I bought it from eBay best offer £135 (however another coin was purchased from the seller). Purchasing of Atkinson's may be more ideal especially if you buy another coin on the mix and match you can lower the unit price for the panda

Check out the panda photo thread.
