This privy mark buisiness is all getting a little bit silly in my opinion..

The Royal Mint seem to be slapping them on anything and everything and I feel it’s become too much of a gimmick.

I got the email about it too... when i saw they had added a privy i died a little inside. oh well, they have to make money i guess.

There is also corner lettering which is more interesting than the privy

If i spent £980 on a 50p that was not even 999.9 gold I would certainly feel like a trip to the privy. 

When people talk about Royal Mint ripping people off with prices, its this kind of thing they are referring too

Putting privies on coins is such a slippery slope, and I’m disheartened the RM has started this trend. The Aussie coins look so cheap with their special privies for lunar celebrations, coin shows, and whatever else. 

Just a cheap and easy way to make a coin seem special - when it’s really not 😐

I also had an email from the Royal Mint I like the coin because of the old design of the 50p. But I unsure about the price it seems excessive, I would really like it to put to a collection. But probably won't. They are pricing me out of buying. Sad 🤔

Was a great flipping opportunity, silver 50p sold out, going for double now on Ebay, already a few sold for over £90...
