Queens beast white lion proof

CHOMR

Looks little better than the bullion version. The lion still looks like it's about to break into song, order a round of drinks from a pub, punch someone with knuckle dusters or what ever other scenario you favour.

The only design that makes the poxed goat better by association. Shame I have to buy it for the collection or I would give it a miss

If it wasn’t for promising my son I would get two complete collections I’d have chucked the sponge in with the Yale.

Two more to go, they can’t get any worse.

Good luck Carl, I hope the biopsy comes back clear

They are up live on Royal Mint's website

https://www.royalmint.com/queens-beast/the-white-lion-of-mortimer/

Key winner again has to be the even further reduced mintage of the 1/4 oz gold proof with only 1000.

This is down from 1250 for the Falcon.

Granted, prices have gone up £55 per 1/4 oz gold with the prices of gold increasing.

All things considered that price hike is not that bad considering gold has gone up £250/oz this £55/oz increase is in line with that!

the yale was the one before the white lion , it was 1000 so no reduce in mintage

anyway , already 70% reserved, I am sure it will be sold out

MY TOTAL FORUM TRADE FEEDBACK IS 100 AND IT IS 100%

Ah, sorry my bad of course it was!

Still, 1000 is a strong mintage.

I was going to buy this when i saw the die at the mint being made... but im not sure. I dont have the full collection and only buy what I like... I mean, I like it and all... but dunno if its for me.

I may ditch the queens beasts I have already and put the money into sovereigns.

I am sure that it is 70% reserved but I would imagine that they will be going to third party dealers who will have them in stock for months and months to come.

Interesting I see that the Coin Connection doesn't have the 1/4 gold in stock... but they have the other sizes. Maybe due to the low mintage they didn't get an allocation?

I ordered the 1/4oz directly to them
