Queens Beast Missed The Boat

Hi all back in 2016 I purchased a 2oz lion Queens Beast coin with the intention of following the collection. Due to life getting in the way I didn't continue.

To try and fill in the other 6 coins so far there is a hefty premium would you say I have missed the boat?

If I have missed the boat would you recommend keeping hold of it as a one off which doesn't fit into my stack or look into trading most likely for Britannia's which fit in with my stack?

I don't think you have, I only started collecting the 2oz versions about 2 months ago and have picked them all up now for around £40 - £45 per coin. The coins are after all quite common (high mintages) so watch out for sites like Atkinsons or Silver Trader who will already have the coins or will have them in stock from time to time. I have even started to back date the 1/4 ounce gold coins.

These coins will never be rare or even scarce in bullion in gold or silver as there were so many minted.

Its probably not to late.
I only started collecting in May this year.
The only two I had to pay a big premium for was the Lion and the Griffin. The rest I managed to get for between £38 and £44 each.
If you decide to sell the Lion I am sure you will find a buyer.

I haven't seen these prices I guess I should shop around more.

Looking at what your saying its the lion and the Griffin with the premium so I only have to pay premium for one coin (the Griffin) so that makes it easier on my pocket.

Griffin is the slightly more expensive coin, lower mintages than the Lion, but yes they are the the ones people seem to have trouble finding at a decent price)

I'm letting mine go. I have one of each 2 oz in air tite capsules with black rings. I don't mind keeping the Lion.

For all six (Griffin till Yale) I'm asking €265 excl shipping from Belgium.

Sounds tempting. I am working on a budget so unfortunately I can't commit.
