Did not realize that this still went on. Thought the QA at Llantrisant had this covered. - There again you cannot buy tradition and the need for so many to have a Jolly for the day!

 

When I saw the fourth picture it did make me wince a bit – I think that this is the WW1 1 kilo gold coin; and if that is the case I hope that don’t try and sell this with all his mitt marks over it
