closed 1988 Britannia gold proof set £2,230 (1.85oz of gold) UNDER SPOT

Atkinson's have 2019 bullion set for £2388 which is £150 more expensive then the set advertised here.

Also the set here is proof which is considered to have a higher premium.

It's a win on price for the set that's for sure.

Jackobayliss you may want to consider breaking the set up to attract buyers.

Sacrilege- but I absolutely agree that it will likely sell broken up- the Quarter and the 1/10th will fly out of the door.

Yes still looking and have 11 sets now since they are selling for almost spot unless key years. The 1988 is very common so spot is about right but the price for that set is a bit above spot if yuo calculate as follows:

4 coin Britannia set (1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz. 1/10oz) AGW52.36g x £39 = £2,045 approx so add 5% and it is about an extra £100 so the asking price is quite a bit above spot sorry to say.

AGW is 57.542g Marc so it is under Spot
