This just shows how reliant we  are on "MODERN DAY TECHNOLOGY" - and the speed with which "WE" (minions) - 

could be Switched off/ controlled by one "BRS" (BIG RED SWITCH)

GUESS WOT - - "THE POWERS THAT BE"  - - CANNOT SWITCH of my PHYSICAL PM's

Ah, but what if no one can access their money to buy your physical PM's when you need to sell them. You are just left with expensive paper weights.

Given a little bit of a lag, I know, but would get to point where one of the "big boys" wants to feed his family cos he aint got HIS FIAT either -

Further to a technical issue which is delaying trades on London indices, the BBC has been told by the London Stock Exchange that it will give about 20 minutes notice before it re-opens.

That suggests that trading will stay closed until at least 09:00.

He's more likely to swap his ferrari for a tin of beans, you can't eat gold. And why would you want a ferrari, you'd run out of fuel in a few hours, and no way of filling it back up. 

I know that many stackers are convinced that gold and silver will be needed to barter in the days after the apocalypse  But I think the people with the guns, fuel and food stores will be the ones that will survive, not some daftie wondering about with a pocket full of sovereigns and a wheelbarrow full of silver Britannias or Eagles

The London Stock Exchange has provided an update in regards to delayed trading this morning.

Trading will re-start at 09:40.

Users who receive rejection messages have been advised to log out of their trading sessions and then log back in again.
