Value of polished/ex jewellery sovereigns?

Hi everyone, I’ve got six sovereigns, all of which have been polished. The three Elizabeths arent too bad but the three Victorias are really quite shiny, one of them has evenly spaced marks all around the rim so I presume it was in some sort of jewellery at some point.

 

Does anyone have any idea what prices these would sell for on the forum, I know dealers are only going to offer scrap so would it be worth listing them here?

Spot plus 1% roughly, just as cheap bullion. More likely spot.

Ok thanks. Do you think these type of sovereigns (polished) will sell on the forum or am I better of just sending them off to a dealer?

A dealer is more likely to offer below spot.

Depends what the price is I guess.

At the right price they will sell very quickly on the forum . On ebay they will sell between £275 and £285 from a 99p start over 7 days . Selling them on the forum you will not have ebay and paypal fees to subtract .

Quick question about selling on the forum, I can see that people have a trading rating, I presume that is for buying as well as selling? Now that I’ve sold to a couple of forum members I’m not sure about how/when or if I should be leaving them feedback.

I usually give feedback when the item arrives fine and both members are happy
