Blueberries are quite hardy plants.

I'm sure they'd be ok.

Blueberries are one my favourite berries. I have a few plants in the backgarden.

Will need to look into them for next year Groundup, the wee fella loves blueberries. Prefer apples myself 😁

Those look amazing. Not sure they would grow in Scotland though.

Thanks!  Yes, they are very hardy plants, and should grow in Scotland from a climate standpoint, but I'm not sure if there is anything they wouldn't like about the soil etc.  They grow wild in harsher locations such as Maine and Nova Scotia (these have very small berries), and the cultivated varieties like mine above grow there as well.

I also found this below, so it looks like at least some are grown locally in Scotland:

A few tasty morsels from the patch this morning..although winter can’t be far away..the yellow raspberries are ‘Autumn Gold’!

Nice to see some raspberries - whenever the kids are sent out to pick them nothing seems to ever make it back to the kitchen:lol: (the yellow ones seem to vanish first!)

As I was hoping..a bouquet of rhubarb to a neighbour a couple of days ago has resulted in a knock at the door...A delivery of warm cake..rhubarb and stem ginger..truly superb!

Just sent the wife across the road with a bag of runner beans...hopefully chocolate cake next time 😂!
