Perth Mint Emu coins

Hi everyone,

I wanted to get everyone's opinion on the new Australian gold Emu coins. 2018 was the first year of release and there is a 2019 coin. Do you think this will be a successful series worth diligently collecting each year? I purchased the 2018 coin as APMEX had only a few left and am considering the 2019 coin.

As all Perth mint they are beautiful coins.   It’s just what they have done to the queen on the other side.   Same as the Canadians and pojoy mint.     I won’t buy any because they may look fantastic one side but all the good work is done on the other.   If going to buy 1oz I’d buy it to keep series going.     Or just wait for the lunar 3 mouse because that will be a nice series to collect

No.   Got them in silver.    If I started stacking earlier I would have gone for the full series 2.   Got a few individual coins.  Superb quality and great size   Now I won’t because of the queen

I meant in silver, assume if I don't mention the metal it's going to be silver as it's the silver forum...and cos gold costs a small fortune to get a decent set done when it's 1 oz gold,I know cos my qb's are bankrupting me..lol.

I think it’s a shocking representation.    Along with the Canadian version

I am not sure why but the 2019 has the Queen as in your picture and the 2018 Emu looks like the picture I've attached. I am not sure why they would change portraits within the series.

I personally like this coin, the PM mints really nice coins and I love that they come in capsules from the mint.
