An interesting new coin, shape of Gold beach from the D-day landing

Not my cup of tea but still quite a thoughtful piece.

I wouldn't agree that a coin that looks as though someone has taken a bite out if it is a "thoughtful piece".

I can just imagine the comments from D day veterans.

"Looks bloody stupid"

"Is it made of chocolate?"

"I can't be doing with all these fancy gimmicks"

"Didn't make them like that in my day, they'd be laughed at if they did"

Just saw a television commercial on this from Hattons of London here in the US...was watching The History Channel. They were offering this for the low, low price of $247...oh, by the way, it is available for $147 on their website. Still wouldn’t pick this one up.

Not too fond of this design. Something isn't right about the appearance of this coin. Looks like the inspiration was based on someone in the design room nibbling on a biscuit and got a eureka moment! *Facepalm*
