I have an idea of getting silver near spot price without spending too much money.

If 1 person wants 100g of silver, he will have to pay £70.

If 20 people want 100g of silver, they will have to pay £70 each.

But if 1 person orders 5 in bulk on behalf of the other 4, they will have to pay £60 each.

This example is of a small scale but on a larger scale, could this be a good way to buy bullion for cheap?

We don't pay bulk prices as the op was suggesting though so it is a little different.  Any saving isn't made by buying in bulk and receiving a cheaper price it's from sharing the shipping and assuming the local postage doesn't bring the price over the cost of shipping for you alone from the dealer.

And all the time in the word to think about spending it...behind bars.😎

The gang got an average of seven years each, meaning 31/2 to 4 years inside. Up to £200 million stolen, lets call it £70 million, as no one has ever over reported. Some has been found, but at least £45 million has not, £45 million between the members, adds up to around £7 million each or about £2 million a year, with room and board included! Plus that money is tax free!😋

And thus another bullion dealer was created...
