Benefits of dating a bank teller

My girlfriend works at a local bank. Recently a lady came in to deposit 6 rolls of halves. My girlfriend noticed that all the rolls had “65-69” written on them. On her lunch she called to confirm the silver content. I quickly drove down with 60$ to buy all six rolls of 40% Kennedy halves! Coin roll hunters dream! I’ve never actually hunted rolls of halves, only dabbled in penny roll searching. The benefits of dating a banker are certainly paying off! This was her first real score. Other than this she’s only found a couple decent star notes. I just figured I’d share my excitement!

But can she make tea?

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

"There is no such thing as public money, there is only taxpayers' money"

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.

Very cool!  I've hunted half dollar rolls before, spending a lot of time (while watching Youtube video, which I do anyway) digging for silver.  In all my hunting I've only found one 40% silver half.  I gave up half hunting, but from time to time I'll buy a box of penny rolls from the bank and dig up the real copper ones.  On average I get about 12% coppers out of a lot of rolls.  Eh, since I'm just hanging on YT anyway, I figure I'll keep doing that from time to time.  But halves, not anymore.

Congrats on the big score. 😎

I bought $1000  of halves to fill up a treasure chest once, not obe 40%, 90% or plate...looked nice but not worth my time, I found more silver metal detecting the coin roll hunting...but I do stash copper cents, American or Canadian, I'm not biased.

whilst here in the UK we cant find silver in our change, finding copper/bronze 1p and 2p coins is very easy. If it was legal to melt UK coins, each coin would be worth about 10% more in scrap value than face value
