Royal Mint release times

Hello, I am relatively new to this forum and from ordering from the RM however a long time collector. I was wondering if someone could tell me at what time there locally (U.K. time) does the Royal Mint usually release their coins? Is it a consistent time like with the U.S. Mint they usually release them at 12:00 p.m. EST on a given day. Is it the same with the Royal Mint and if so what is that time? Thanks for any info you can share. p.s.- The reason I'm asking is because I want to purchase one of the matt finish Victoria sovereigns on May 24th.

The last few really popular releases where they used a queuing system were done at different times so I really don't think they use a set day/time. For the Sovereign release you speak of I would imagine you will find out the release time closer to the day either on here or even from The Royal Mint themselves. They will probably use the same queuing system so you'll want to get your place in line well before the hour the coin actually goes on sale to give yourself the best chance. From what little I've seen about that coin I suspect the demand will be super high from both resellers and those who want it for their collection. I wish you all the best of luck with it!

I don’t see how it is going to be popular. It may seem “sold out” immediately after going on sale, but that may be because of pre-allocations to dealers.

You’ll probably find it for a lower price, with some patience, after a few weeks.

This is my speculation anyway 😀
