Wanting a pre 1930 date and needs to be in v good condition. 

Looking to spend max £240 depending on condition.

I think £240 is about the absolute minimum  yuo can expect to pay for a bullion grade well used sov and not many people are going to chance selling one and then getting it returned if yuo think the coniditon is not good enougth. Hi Marc, thanks for the post. I've managed to get one recently on here for that price so happy to wait a while. Bullion by post is quite expensive as for only 1 its looking like 265. If all else fails I'll buy from Hatton garden metals as they're about £248-255. 👍

I just vbought a sovereign from Sharps Pixley they we’re good. Atkinson bullion all major dealers too expect to pay about £250.
