Any idea if lion of Mortimer coins will be included in this one?

Lion of Mortimer will be not ready for shipping until mid to late October.

If you order any then the rest of your order will be shipped in the next week or so and the lions separately (hopefully) before brexit

Is the purpose of this group order just to save on postage costs?

and on the site should we select ccy at gbp?

To save on postage and VAT.

You will will save about a pound or two on each coin hopefully from ordering from euro mint from the group order.

You save on postage and VAT as already mentioned. But when you make an order do not use GBP on their site which is highly inaccurate exchange. Make the order in EUR and pay using TransferWise. Depending on how many coins you order it will be cheaper, but it might not be worth it if you want just a couple of coins.

I've been tempted for a long time to order something through this... and sure, there are several silver pieces I'd like to acquire, some in bulk. BUT... decisions decisions... I am currently prioritizing gold, and unfortunately can't do gold AND silver right now... which is a bummer 😕

Not wanting to ask a dunce question here but as i understand it Estonia has a 0% VAT on silver bullion coins. We can import them into the UK as the goods would be moving within the EU so not be classed as being imported from outside EU obviously. But are they liable in the UK for duty given there nature as bullion? If I have it right as they are not leaving the EU and they have been subject to vat just that its 0% so there will be no duty or vat when hitting UK shores right? Just trying to explain the major potential advantages to what you guys are doing here to a friend who is considering buying some silver 1oz coins from the UK and im just trying to save them the tax really (and CGT if he buys the Britannias). Thanks in advance for clarification guys!

You have it in a nutshell, VAT has already been applied, just at 0%

One of the perks we stand to lose from a no-deal brexit is the freedom of movement for goods in the EU - which means the potential for double taxation on lots of goods and services we (British) use.

Looks like brexit is going to be delayed again because of the unlawful act of stopping parliament this month(hopefully).

I'm fed up of the politicians in London and europe (mostly london) bickering just get the job done so we all finally know where we stand and can get on with our lives.

I think the door is closed on the Group orders through - @BackyardBullion

BUT there is nothing to stop you ordering from them DIRECT! -  Ihave a pile coming through BYB and decided late to grab a few other bits- and went direct, and they are being shipped direct to me - the downside of this is slightly higher costs for the postage! - BUT hell still cheaper than the VAT in the Uk!
