Royal Mint 1000g silver cast bar

I really like this bar. Are they new because I've never seen them on US bullion dealer website(but the Britannia bars, also featured on the RM website are all over the place)? Are they widely available in the UK? I wanted to purchase one but the RM requires passport or birth certificate and I'd rather not go through the hassle.

Talking £540 inclusive of VAT which is a lot.

Would you be charged any import tax?

From what I understood from the FAQ, the VAT is only applicable to countries without a VAT. I'm not aware of any import taxes but the shipping won't be cheap either. I'm just kinda curious as to whether this is a new offering from the Royal Mint.

Wonder if @arshimo2012 ever gets these passing through his hands as he may be one of the best placed people to help you - tried and trusted seller who I have bought a very nice box of PAMP bars from in past.

Not had any of them for ages. Going price I would say £455-£465
