Can't use eBay UK coupon for Bullion anymore :(

I am not sure if it has been mentioned or not. 

Logged into my eBay today for first time in months and had a £5 off voucher, happy days, lets look for cheapest 1oz  silver coin

Most vouchers can not be used with bullion, gold, etc. 

If it coincides with a £1 offer, members on here usually change the category to something that does accept the voucher.

Last time I had a voucher I just messaged the seller and asked them to relist their coin in the collectibles category.  They were happy to oblige.

Do things like sovereigns or silver coins fall under bullion?...because I use ebay offers to but constitutional silver or sovereigns....bullion without the bullion.

Anything listed in coin category is exempt from offer

I buy jewelry and sovs with ebay bucks and earn them from those same buys.

can't really understand why coins/bullion are excluded from ebay offers. presumably they do these promotions to generate more sales and the commission they get will be the same on coins as anything else.

it would be logical for them to restrict their 10 and 15% offers to times when they are not offering £1 FVF as well though😁

This is probably a U.K. exemption. We don’t get eBay bucks, we get vouchers off from time to time.

I get those too and use them against sovs and jewelry.
