Bud I’m sure there’s quite a few posts already covering this, If your not looking to bring a suitcase full, it’s then really all down to if your wife declares it or not. If it’s a few bars or coins, don’t think there’s anything to worry about. Hope she has a wonderful time :)

If you go to the UK customs website, they give you a personal valuables limit - I think it was around $800 USD if I recall. Above that, they can potentially give you a hard time. But as others have said, you will probably be OK as long as you aren't doing something silly like bringing in monster boxes or Good Delivery Bars in your checked bags.
