50% UK coin collection

Recommended Posts

I have a few hundred coins that are 50% silver... the usual threepennies, sixpences, shillings etc...

I would rather liquidate these and put the proceeds into 925 coins or similar or use to buy bars etc.

What is the most beneficial way to sell these on Ebay? I take it I should read up on rarer dates and spend some time grading them etc? Selling them in groups or sets maybe?

TIA!

Try a coin shop and exchange, people do it all the time..near spot on both sides, you'll maybe lose a pound and ounce on spot both ways but it's not too bad if you just want bullion.

If they do that for you then they are doing you a massive favour too, cause they need to make money from all of the coins you gave them too.

That's a lot of coins for them to flip.
