Recommended Posts

I got an email from coin connection about these and they are on royal mint site here

https://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/events/wedgwood/

are these worth buying ? Gold seems quite limited (225 in these boxes according to coin connection) but I see you can buy 3 gold per household so maybe not so good ? I like the look of silver piedfort the most

That’s a normal night out in Chesterfield!

@RudiTapper  Hi, If you like the Piedfort (which I do) then buy it...but don’t expect to resell it for a profit any time soon..all depends on why you buy coins I guess ...for profit or for fun.

Personally, I don’t think these will be selling like hot cakes, so no rush in making your decision.

Cheers for the advice !

Saw this on Wikipedia about the twisted spire in Chesterfield - explains the women 😜

One well-established legend goes that a virgin once married in the church, and the church was so surprised that the spire turned around to look at the bride, and continues that if another virgin marries in the church, the spire will return to true again.

Very tame by South Coast standards......

Down here those "at the bottom end of the food chain" don't venture out unless they've packed a pair of night vision goggles and a roll of gaffer tape :o

OMG! 😮..How can a thread about Wedgewood descend into this....I am learning way too much about my fellow forum members proclivities..and it’s starting to get quite disturbing!

For those who have never visited Chesterfield of an evening..you have not lived..You can still, In the UK..go out for several pints, have a curry, meet a nice young ‘lady’..or gent..often hard to tell 😂 get a taxi, and still have change from a £10 note!..

Viva Chesterfield ..we love 💖 you!

Sorry @RudiTapper, this thread supposed to be about the 260th Anniversary of Wedgwood...

Also saw this from the Perth Mint. Not a PM, but “legal tender coin”...

The picture above also looks a bit dodgy...not sure what @terakris will make of those three ladies...especially the one in the middle who looks especially pleased with herself😃!!

The Connect Four hustle! I've run up some bar tabs too 😉

Ever spent time in the Philippines @CadmiumGreen?

Technically, alcohol is a solution..

'It [socialism] poses a growing threat, however unintentional, to the freedom of this country, for there is no freedom where the State totally controls the economy. Personal freedom and economic freedom are indivisible. You can’t have one without the other. You can’t lose one without losing the other.'

Let not England forget her precedence of teaching nations how to live.

@Roy are you on the naughty step?

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

COVID-19 is a cover story for the collapsing economy. Green Energy isn't Green and it isn't Renewable.
