And so it begins.....see you end of next month to see whether they have been a black hole for secondary market buyers....

I am going to enjoy mine and maybe give as gifts. Couple off for grading mind. One stays in its box.

Grading is a great idea...is there a thread on this forum about this and how do have it done? Never considered before. Is it expensive?

@Numistacker has a grading service and an excellent youtube channel. I have actually decided not to have them graded now. No hurry for me.....grading will cost about as much as the silver coin cost depending so it is generally not worth it for silver coins. I would wait and see. Dont rush into anything but do checkout numistacker’s youtube channel and subscribe

How many were you able to order of the piedmont? My limit was two I believe.

That took less than 50 minutes.

Is this some kind of record ? Strict 2/household for the silver and 1/household for the gold and kapow...gone in 45 minutes (assuming it took them a couple of mins to put the sold out message up).

I only ordered one piedfort. Don’t normally buy the commemorative coins but I’m a physics geek. Money was set aside to go towards a specific half sovereign, but that can wait...

Do people really pay so much on eBay for these coins?? I’m new to this specific market and it’s staggering.
