Anyone like Chess?

Chess club could definitely be a thing, a piece a month until you have your full set and maybe BYB senior could put together oak chess boards?

As an aside I'm in the market for silver percentile dice if that ever comes up (sadly none of the games I play are D20)

I am waiting for @BackyardBullion to venture into hand poured silver chess pieces.......

I have seen some hand poured silver pieces (https://thecoinshoppe.ca/product/full-chess-set-32-pieces-32-x-1-oz-pure-silver-hand-poured-round-mk-barz/) but I would prefer the 3D hand poured silver pieces.

You mean two D10's with 10's and 1's?

This is something we are working on for late 2019

I reckon you should make a Silver Forum Monopoly Silver set.......that would be epic....... @BackyardBullion

That would be cool - but I think someone has already done that - cannot remember who though

Also, I would probably get chastised for making a monopoly on the silver forum or something.....

Sorry, trolls are getting the better of me today.....

Ah, joking aside, a nice draught set would look good with your leaf emblems on each piece :)

For sure and it is something we could do without having to spend nearly £1000 on 6 2 part 3D moulds!

Still, small rounds would be about 1.5 oz each - 24 pieces would be about 36 oz's and then the cost of the board!

Large rounds (3 oz each)....you get the picture!

If anyone is keen, I am game!

Online but it’s not cheap

I kind of expected that :)

I image-searched the picture and found a company called powercoin.it pre-saleing it for €290 which is a bit much for the silver in it but I kind of want one. I imagine the delivery would be pretty expensive too though.

I’ve always wanted to make a set of dice but I don’t know how to balance them

Actually most polyhedral dice aren't properly weighted. D6s are really tightly controlled by laws because they're used in casinos etc, but polyhedral dice are a wild west
