2017 Proof SOV value?

I see a wide range of prices for this coin (single Proof SOV in original Royal MInt box.) I can't get a read on what might be a realistic price for these. Any ideas?

Theres Alot of variables . Are you looking to buy or sell ?

Buy. Which brings up another question: a reliable source for "secondary market" coins. In the US, it can be the wild west once the US Mint is not directly involved, and very experienced dealers are out of stock. That is merely my opinion. But when buying gold, more provenance the better.

2017 Sovereign Proof started at 430 pounds from Royal Mint.

Ended 2017 at 600-700 pounds.

Rather convincing evidence of value, given the movement of the other one-year designs. Seems Chards is a fair price for the coin.  Thanks for the info. BTW, do many of the UK SOV collectors view a Chards price as a standard? It may merely be a guess on my part, but I am inclined to believe the 'hometown' crowd generally has a firm idea of the local prices for local products. Also, Numistacker's videos somehow lend credence to SOV collecting.

Chards have good prices for modern sovs, especially issue proofs. They are expensive for older collectable coins though.
