No high hopes, I just want to talk about it 

Since getting my first 20 Mark Kaiserreich gold coins ten years ago (which I then sold again only to get others last year), my thoughts have been circling around this coin, it's history, and the question on whether I would ever be able to afford one. I know that there are some on offer by various trustworthy dealers, but I would not have the 5,000+ Euros needed at the moment. Even if I had that sum ready to burn, I would not know whether this would be a prudent move. I keep hearing that the coin itself is rather a myth and that any available piece might be a (n even contemporary) forgery.

Does anyone have experience with this coin?

Maybe I should get a souvenir like this and be happy with it...

I have silver coins from this era, the Silver 1 and 1/2 rupiee. Lovely Coins. Never come across the good ones ever. I think I have a couple of year runs, and they aren’t cheap!
