Does anyone know what this logo is?

I was walking through one of the quieter spots in town today when I came across this pouch on the pavement. I couldn’t just leave it there so I nabbed it. Im wondering what was in it and why it was hastily removed in the middle of a public place. Could have been silver or gold. I’m thinking Queens Beast but my mind is running away with what happened involving this pouch and the person it belonged to. It could even have been dropped and the coin removed by some lucky passer by and the pouch disgarded. But first of all, what does the logo mean?

I am pretty sure that is Barclays Bank.

It probably contained a 1972 Crown.

Hey thanks for the reply and I think you’re right I just googled 1972 Barclays Bank logo and there is a picture of pretty much the same bird in black and white. So what I think must have happened is someone purchased a 1972 crown from one of the cabinets in the nearby underground coin and antiques market.
