Are you advocating for hiding in plain sight?

I can see it now, if I melt down my stack, I could apply a thin layer of silver to all the internal walls of my house. That way, I dont advertise to the outside world, and what is anyone who happens to enter my abode going to do, steal my walls?

Genius!

Genius!

I like your thinking

Although in my case it would have to be an exceedingly (maybe atomically) thin layer...

A typical cr@p piece of modern reporting. Talks about "gold vinyl" whatever that is and doesn't actually say they are "coated in gold" as it suggests in the title except for a one word reference to "gilding"

One way to hide your stack is my current preferred method: keep it very very small.

I'm genuinely with you on that one. Posted two rather chunky parcels today with some silver I'd sold, but the equivalent value of gold would be less than ten grams...

Not sure about silver but apparently 1oz of gold can cover more than 9 square metres.

There's an example here of 3 oz of gold leaf covering roughly a 28 square metre room...

Don't forget the map needs to be divided with each part sold at a flea market or tavern in different parts of the country...

And preferably have directions given as cryptic clues, bonus points if they're in rhyming couplets.

Not couplets

There was a young man called Pans

Who sole Kev's plans

He took his spade

And dug in the shade

All he got was tin cans

I thank you!😀
