Good afternoon, can anyone help me with the price for this coin?
And do you guys think that there are fakes from this year? Or does this look like one?

Well, it’s not a Shield Sov, as written on the holder. It is an 1876 Type IIA Queen Victoria St. George Sov. Marsh lists it as Common and estimate of £300 in minimum of Extra Fine (EF) grade. Hard to tell from the photos if this one is EF...I would go with VF quality, but again not having in hand or great photos to tell. Probably wouldn’t pay more than current bullion prices for this one.
