Belgian dealers

Hi All,

I sold my stack of Krugerrands about 18 months ago but have really missed stacking so want to get back into it.

I have a budget of about a grand a month but not sure whether to go for Krugerrands (I have a 'thing' for them) or to start buying silver, either Walking Liberties or silver Krugs - any thoughts?

Finaly, I spend 2 weeks a month in Belgium so, to keep delivery costs to zero, does anyone know of any Brussels (or close to) dealers that I can walk in and purchase from? As an aside, goldsilver.be is about 2 minutes drive from the shooting range I go to, but on their website they clearly say collecting from their premises doesn't reduce delivery costs of orders!

Cheers

David

i think as far a gold is concerned, a good few of members recommend sovereigns, Britannias and Queens Beasts for UK residents.

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

It does if you take your gun with you... reduces the cost of the silver/gold to spot minus 100% as well 😛

Krugs are best sourced in Birmingham - usually pick them up 3% over spot

failing that HGM have OKish prices currently £1028.11 per Krug - however you have to add delivery if you arent picking up yourself.

Thanks all - I know about Sovs and Britannias, I had 20oz of gold before selling up, most was Krugs but I had a couple of Britannias and a couple of tubes of Sovs. I sourced most from Atkinsons and a bit from HGM.

As far as getting a 100% discount after a day at the range... 😱 😀 😱.

My main question at the moment is whether to get into VAT free silver or to go back to Krug collecting....and also where to buy to keep costs to a minimum

Cheers for the input 👍

Stick with the gold,

(1)you will remember what your 20oz looked like.     Now work out how much space £20k of silver will take.

(2) don’t know who sold gold to but if was HGM etc probably got 98% odd of spot, sliver will be less I expect and you will need help to take it there.

(3) bought a cracking 100oz bar last year and think it cost over £30 to send that imagine the cost in postage it will be if you send to private buyers

(4) BYB has group orders, see some of his unboxing vids to see what £20 silver looks like......... then try hiding in cupboard

(5) stick to gold!!!
