Hi Guys,

Just brought my first Sovereign from Bullion by Post, Edward Vii 1908 Perth Mint. The condition looks great but it does look a little dull, can it be cleaned?

    Many Thanks in advance.

Is this a good dealer?  packaged and postage times were excellent.

Put it in a capsule or at least a coin flip. Keep it safe. Start an Excel file or a notebook with the details of the coin, price paid blah blah. Then put it safe wherever you decide to keep it safe.

Don't clean it.

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.

If it’s just a bullion sovereign then I use Town talks gold polishing cloth. Just a quick rub and you can see the black residue of the coin on the cloth. Brings it up nicely and it’s used by jewellers. Never wash it though. They are cheap so just buy another once. Should be good for 20 sovs or so.
