Antique Pirate Plaque for Forum Appraisal

I got this artist's plaque a few years ago - its between 3 and 4 ounces, likely 92.5, #86 or #98 of 100 and dates from 1907.

The front features a bust of Sir Francis Drake, its 1907 date and an artists signature, which I can't make out.

The back features a map of the Americas, the longitude and latitude lines, Drake's route and some text:

In commemoration of the discovery and landing upon the North Western coast of America by the first English circumnavigator  A-D-1579

Its hallmarked and numbered on the side, but I couldn't get a decent photo of that.

I'd be interested to know if anyone knows the signature, has any idea of its value or if anyone has seen anything similar.

Literally the second google result on searching for the text on the reverse...

Obligado amigo!  I never thought to google the transcription.  It appears to be the 17th issue of the American Numismatic Society with a mintage of 102.  Rudolf Marschall, the artist, was most famed for his portraits and medallions but nobody to get too excited about. There's a more common 1909 sister coin for sale on ebay, but Drake is three times as heavy, far better looking and much rarer - happy days!
