Queens beast griffin gold proof coins

I believe the gold proof release same as the gold bullion release. The royal mint website should have all the details

https://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/ranges/queens-beasts/

The QB Gold proof not appreciated in premium over their BU counterparts may be able to pick these up at same price as release price. As for where you would purchase these from best deals secondary market.

I only have silver 1oz QB proofs and thinking about collecting the QB proofs in gold even though not appreciated in price good sign holding their initial sale price.

Dont think the griffin was released in a proof version yet.

I don't think Griffin is available as a proof version yet either. Sometimes confusing with the Royal Mint having different schedules for release of their proof and BU coins.

Allegedly the proof Griffin will be released last but stay tuned on this forum and you'll probably hear it here first.

Some dealers on here offer the coins for a bit less when they are announced and also on the trade section of this forum the proofs occasionally pop up on the secondary market (you need to be a premium member to see the listings in time). 1/4oz gold gets sold out quickly on the Royal Mint homepage but 1oz, 5oz and 1kg are usually available for longer.

They seem to have settled into releasing 2 proofs per year, and the corresponding bullion at the same time (except the 10oz silver and 1oz platinum coming with a 6 month lag). I would assume one will come out probably in the next month and the other around September.

If this continues, the Griffin would need to be last, as the bullion is already out, so it must be a proof-only release unless they decide to go back out of sequence with proof and bullion releases.
