How do i open this

I bought a 10oz Red Dragon a few weeks ago, and now i want to be a big kid and play with t. But i cant get into it, is there a trick to it?

I feel its a good idea to have a nice chunky silver bar to handle if you want to, you may up knocking a few quid of its value down the line if you handle it - but as long as that does not bother you , any means necessary 😃

I used the end of one of the 'blades' from a pair of scissors to prise it open. Just watch those major arteries !

 

Also,  wear gloves if you're going to touch it. One of my work colleagues got a 5oz proof britannia, worth about £400-500 and played with it. It's now not worth much more than its silver content due to the damage his fingerprints and sweat did to it

leave the coins in the capsules and grab a 1kg silver bar to chuck around lol.

That sounds like a good excuse to buy a bit more silver.

i think it's staying in it's capsule. 1oz coins will have to do for playing around with.

Hammer!  Or a thin sharp knife. Stick the blade in the crack where it comes together and twist the knife.
