Staking planning and organization

Hello everyone.

I do apologize in advance if it's the wrong section.

I'd like to ask: how do you plan and organize (in the long run) the staking of your precious metals?

More specifically:

1) how much of your portfolio do you invest in physical precious metals?

2) gold/silver weight ratio? How many ounces of silver do you buy for every ounce of gold?

3) do you mostly buy bars or coins?

4) what about the denomination of the pieces? A kind of pyramid scheme (the lower the weight, the more pieces you buy)?

5) how frequently? Monthly, yearly?

Thank you very much

The answer to your questions vary depending on age/personal and financial circumstances and if you fall into stacker or collector category or both. My answers based on my personal circumstances.

1) how much of your portfolio do you invest in physical precious metals?

Less than 5%. In the future if there is a more favorably spot price then the percentage allocation into PM will increase.

2) gold/silver weight ratio? How many ounces of silver do you buy for every ounce of gold?

At current spot rates my ratio is 20 Silver oz to 1 Gold oz.

3) do you mostly buy bars or coins?

All coin unless 10 oz silver Britannia bar or Perth Mint 2018 Dragon silver Bullion 1oz bar

4) what about the denomination of the pieces? A kind of pyramid scheme (the lower the weight, the more pieces you buy)?

Mostly bullion but includes some proof sets and hand poured silver.
