Royal Mint Issues for 2019?

Has anyone seen a list of the Royal Mint’s gold and silver coin issues for next year?

I’ve just seen a YouTube video (SalivateMetal) showing the coin issues from the US Mint for next year (and their dates of issue).  Has anyone spotted a listing from the Royal Mint setting out its issues for next year?  It would be useful to know what is coming in order to budget and prioritise one’s spending.  I was lucky enough to buy one of the 2018 “Gold Standard” coins but it was only because it was mentioned on this forum.  Surely there must be a schedule from the Royal Mint setting out when and what it is issuing?

The recent Privy Council proclamations show a 200 pounds 2 oz Britannia gold coin?

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. - H.L. Mencken

It looks as if the list of coins for 2019 is still being added to!

Has anyone seen a list of issue dates for 2019's coins?

It looks as if we are going to have a busy year next year!  It would seem that prioritising one's spending will be more important than ever.

Well!  As no one seems to have a full list of the forthcoming coins from the Royal Mint for next year or knows when they will be released, I contacted the Royal Mint directly.  I received the following response:

Thank you for your email.

In relation to a list of future coins for release I am sorry but we cannot offer this service.

You may register your interest here https://www.royalmint.com/pre-register/

Hope you have a nice afternoon.

Kind regards.

Tyrone

I wonder if they really want us to collect their coins!

I have still not been able to get a complete listing of the Royal Mint's issues (and dates of issue) for this year.  Anyone any wiser?  Or do we just have to look on the Royal Mint's website just after midnight every Monday morning in order to see what surprises there are for us?

As someone said on another thread, the 2oz gold Britannia is going to be very expensive and so a number of us will be saving up for it - but how long have we got??

This proclamation https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/2994712 for the Prince of Wales 70th Birthday issues was posted in 23rd March and his birthday was 14th Nov, not sure if they'd release anything beforehand incase he didn't make it from the date of the announcement, so thats 8 months between., not saying thats the exact timing of the new £200 Brit, but you have an example of time period and a little more researching can better determine.

Looks like the £200 is going to be 40mm diameter

Roughly a 3 month lead time from proclamation to Royal mint website (based on Snowman and probably the Gruffalo)

Thank you for your two responses - but we only tend to find these things out after the coins have been issued.

The US mint has a fairly complete list of its issues for 2019 (with quite a number of dates of issue for the early part of the year):

https://catalog.usmint.gov/product-schedule/2019/

This is what I have been trying to find out from the Royal Mint, but with no success.

The RM follows centuries long traditions than the US mint does........
