Fine silver is a fairly soft metal so when it comes into contact with tiny particles of grit, sand or other metals it will scratch or scuff.
Silver on silver when rubbed will mark.
Every coin in a tube is subject to scuffs as the highest points rub together.
Even a coin inside a capsule can be damaged if it can move around allowing the cameo to rub.
Fortunately the correct sized cap prevents this and if coins have a slightly thicker rim this provides some protection, even in tubes.
Loading a coin tube badly can often see an edge accidentally hit the coin below so care needs to be exercised.
My worry about mixing coins in a tube would be various diameters where a reduced diameter rim could mark a larger coin above or below and smaller diameter coins will slide inside the tube and rubbing will mark the highest features.

With bullion silver it probably doesn't make any significant difference and I have tubes of various coins.
I wouldn't however remove a decent coin like a Lunar from is original cap and stack bare in a tube to save space.
Hope this helps.
