The 45-7001 King Seiko hi-beat I bought this week is 33mm so considered small by modern standards, yet still sits beautifully well on the wrist and that is fine with me as it is for good reason (work related). The great thing about these 50 year old Seiko watches is that, apart from their sheer craftsmanship and elegant simplicity, they still keep incredibly accurate time even now. The internals scared the bejeesus out of the Swiss at the time, so much so that they wouldn’t let Seiko compete in the annually held certification event.
