Recently casting my eyes West.. I looked at buying from the US.. I found most coins I liked in provident metals..alas they don't ship to UK.. then tried qsb..sure I got some from them in the past...alas no deal with UK.. finally settled on apmex...are there many others that can be mentioned..good or bad..?

@smilingsocks be careful buying from the US. Pricesook great but you will get 20% import duty plus a lovely £8 royal mail handling fee.

I agree that provident metals have good stuff though!

The lowest prices are almost always from Silver.com, SD Bullion, BGASC, and sometimes Gainesville Coins. They're all significantly lower than APMEX 99% of the time. You'll need to factor in shipping charges to UK to be sure which is best, but these four start out with the lowest prices.

(I'm writing an article comparing bullion prices across American, and perhaps Canadian, dealers.)

What is the lowest on spot silver? JMBullion has 10 round for around 50 cents above spot

There are quite a few reputable bullion dealers. I like bullionexchanges.com as I've found they have the lowest prices. Just make sure whoever you go with, do your homework and make sure they are a reputable dealer. I felt safe with Bullion Exchanges since they are approved by the US Mint as an authorized dealer.

I should've mentioned JM Bullion as well. They own Silver.com, which for some reason usually has lower prices than JMB, but JMB is sometimes competitive. I haven't checked promos for 10 rounds, but if someone wanted 10 oz then usually a 10 oz bar is the best buy. Right now, Silver.com's cheapest new 10 oz bar is $148.00 and JMB's cheapest is $149.00. Silver.com's is a Sunshine Mint bar, which is much better than JMB's cheapest which is an ugly Silvertowne bar (most Silvertowne bars are pretty ugly and look cheaply made, whereas Sunshine Mint is much crisper and has a security feature on the back).

They did last year..
