The dealer may have been licensed to do something with alternative packaging but it didn't happen.

Yeah I thought that. I found it odd that there’s a £5 postage charge when the RM website says free delivery over £45...maybe there is a House of Fraser or Debenhams depot somewhere with 2000 Snowmen proof coins ready to be returned 😂😂😂

It does seem odd that a business would want to loose out

Thanks for the heads up @arshimo2012

Just came off the phone 5 minutes ago. Managed to pick 3 up however I am worried and think these might be unlimited mintage extras.

Looking at 4 weeks for delivery.

I don’t think so, they’ll be part of the remaining 5,000 of the total 20,000 montage.

There would be a LOT of angry people if they released an unlimited montage version.

Someone buys 10 despite description stating "Due to the limited availability of these coins we are restricting orders to one per address"

Upto 3 weeks to deliver as well?

The mintage will be (must be) included in the 20 000 first advertised and sold.

The COA thing is just weird

Again, the Mint have a certain hit on their hands but manage to piss off their customers and muck people around :(

It should be simple, no?

And look at the postage

Standard Post & Packing

£5.00

It makes you think if whether the RM are taking them back and checking them or just selling them for this company who'll post them out.

Yeah it does tie in nicely. I’m guessing we’ll find out when it’s posted.

The only bit I would be iffy about is the space where the message is printed. It would look odd if they kept it blank.

A blank space would be the best result and makes them easily personalised for a gift as many of these will be:)

A easy buy, and with the limited presentation could be a winner.

Yeah I suppose you’re right. I’m happy I got a couple and even more of a bonus about the presentation. Without a COA I’m not sure what that will mean for long term value, but if they do include something it would be a great outcome.

So glad you got some in the end! :D

These could do well, it'll be interesting to watch how these do! :)

Cheers! I only wanted one for my 10 month old as his first coin in the first place.

Now I have a second one, I can keep it for myself. Maybe a cheeky NGC concervation.

Then when I’m dead he’ll probably sell both for money towards a boiler, sofa or something else uninteresting 😂😂
