Just the plain G&D I think mate. Shields are rarely up and a higher premium again .

edit, tell a lie, saying from 1838 on. Not listing exact dates for coins they have in stock however?

“Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.” Oscillate Wildly

Funny how HGM and BullionbyPost once-upon-a-time pre the Forum didn't differentiate price according to era on sovereigns and half sovereigns.
It was just pot luck what you received and these companies were bullion dealers setting buy & sell prices based on weight and not much more.
I got the impression that HGM would just send unsold coins to the furnace for melting into ingots.
You could pick up a shield for 2% over spot but not any more.

Times have changed and these former scrap metal ( albeit precious metals ) dealers have turned into coin shops and added premiums accordingly.
Gone are the days of picking up a flawless boxed proof set from HGM for 5% over spot.

Yeah its a shame from our perspective but I guess they have to survive.

Personally i would never pay collectors prices for coins as i feel they would be a pain in the arse to sell later down the line, in fact i know they are - the buyer pool is so drastically reduced.

Guess i can just do a date run on recent sovs or something.

If they are saying 1838 onwards then thats very misleading.

Not seen any stock of shields for probably 4-6 weeks now so wouldn't hold your breath :)

@Madstacks If you're literally looking for bullion shields I may be able to match them
