I'm looking forward to the group order too. Going to spend lots of money with BYB/GS.be.

I won't change or cancel my order and I'll pay on time. I don't foresee any problems.

Edit 😉

Just an experiment JB.

I will reveal all when completed 😁

I pick them from the kilo loads I buy lol. I often buy up a kilo or two from various places, isolate the nice ones, add to the stack and sell the rest.

Where do you pick up the junk silver/coins, would love to get a few to add to the collection, currently buying various bullion coins for the fun, not started stacking the same coins just yet.

Various sources bud. I have a network of suppliers. Message me if there are any specific types you after. Sure I can sort you out.

Hey, I was the same when I started about 2 years. I wanted to have a budget and stick to it per month but my lack of patience causes issues. I've started a few collections and sadly a few of them I've actually been relived when they have finished because I didn't really want them. In the process probably overpaid. Is it just me that this happens to? 😂

I think next year my new strategy will be to try my best to find some bargains and enjoy what I buy, and think carefully before I start collections. It's all about having a hobby

I haven't got any full series of anything, and haven't really looked to see what coins are needed for a particular series.

The closest I have come to this is collecting silver pandas, but I have only gone back to 2013 (except for 1995 as a one off) due to the extra premium on those older, lower mintage coins.

Hopefully collecting the newer yearly pandas will still mean a gain in real terms value in years to come but the higher mintage might become an issue. I guess mintage is something to think about when starting a series collection, and if it's long running keeping an eye on the mintages periodically.

One thing I need to control is my impulse buying 🤪

Yep, for sure... I say this just after frantically searching for a decent priced, 10oz Lion of England QB. Probably a good thing I didn't find one as it would be another collection 😂 though one I doubt I would have regrets about 🤔

Collecting a range of different currency coins is much more fun than bullion everyone has lol. Plus you can pick up a few belters for very low prices. I also stack ingots when I get them low premiums.

I love the way you stack your coins in Panda trays! I plan to use one tray for 5 Kookaburras, 5 Koalas and 5 Star Trek coins. My Panda coins are in an air-tite tube.
